This badge requires you to check in five beers with an IBU of over 65. It levels up to 100.
IBU stands for International Bittering Units and is simply a fancy measure of how bitter a beer is. As the name of the badge suggests, hoppy beers are often bitter and so have a high IBU. Watch out though, not every beer has its IBU recorded on untappd so if you are trying to go for this badge then make sure the beer has its IBU displayed next to the ABV.
