With the FIFA Women’s World Cup now in full swing, here is a reminder of Untappd’s biannual World Pint badge.

To claim it, simply check into two beers from different countries that are participating in this years World Cup. For those of you not following the football, the nations are:

Introduced in 2022, in time for the Beijing Winter Olympics, Untappd finally added a badge to celebrate the Olympic games. It was easy to claim, simply check in any beer during the period the games are on.

The next Games are in Paris 2024, followed by the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina 2026.

Stadium Beers

Untappd’s long running “Brew Bowl” badge celebrating the Superbowl was renamed for 2022. Now the more non-descript Stadium Beers badge, this change was likely done to avoid any copyright drama, as the NFL are notoriously protective of the Superbowl name.

The badge was also more restrictive than in past years, only a few styles of American lager counted towards the badge: Lager – American, Lager – American Amber / Red and Lager – American Light.

Brew Bowl

An unofficial holiday in America, the first Sunday of February is Superbowl day. Check into any beer on the day to claim the badge.

The championship game of the NFL, this year the Superbowl is set for the 2nd of February.

Tailgater

Tailgating is an American concept which essentially involves a party in the carpark prior to a sports event. It is especially associated with American football and includes BBQs and gathering around the tailgates of cars.

This is Untappd’s biannual badge celebrating the FIFA World Cup. Released for every Men’s or Women’s World Cup, have a beer from two different nations participating in the tournament to unlock the badge.
