I have had beers from the recommended list yet they do not go onto the badge why is this

The Risk Taker badge is a tricky one!
The criteria are that you must meet one of these two things:
1. check-in a beer directly from the recommended carousel or recommended page
OR
2. add to your wish list (not a custom list) from the recommended carousel or recommended page, and then check-in at a later date

I have tried both options (directly from the list and adding it to my wishlist and waiting a day) and both are not working. The badge still shows no check-ins going toward the count. I have done two from the recommended list and still showing 0/10 toward completion.

Thats strange Cody. I’d Raise a request with Support and see if they can work out whats going wrong. You can do that here: https://help.untappd.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
